"The Paramount and Spotlight are teaming up with the not-for-profit civic organization HSLQ – Huntington Station Latin Quarter – to create a holiday exhibition of painted trees created by you – our local community. For a minimum $25 donation you will receive a wooden tree canvas and supplies to create artwork that will be on display at Spotlight for the entire month of December.
100% of the proceeds of the donation will benefit HSLQ’s Annual Toy Drive
Come by and see your artwork bring joy to the Huntington community.
INSTRUCTIONS:
PICK UP:
Date: starting on 11/20/19
Location: Spotlight (during open hours) or call (631) 673-7300
Donation: $25 minimum The Charity Donation (cash only)
DROP OFF:
Location: Spotlight
Date: 12/4/19 at 6:00pm deadline to drop off completed art to be exhibited at the gala
Early: You can drop off completed art prior to this date
Late: Works completed after the gala can be dropped off and will be installed as soon as possible, and remain on exhibit through the end of the exhibition.
SUPPLIES:
– 2 foot plywood tree canvas
– complimentary paint
– complimentary brush
– you are not limited to using these supplies
THE ART:
– Artistic vision and materials used are completely up to the artist
– Please feel free to bring the tree canvas home with you
– You are more than welcome to utilize the Spotlight space to create your tree if you would like
EXHIBITION:
Opening Gala: Thursday December 5th 7:30pm – 9:30pmExhibition Dates: 12/5/19 – 12/31/19
