Sitting still in meditation is a deeply healing practice for our bodies and minds that gradually leads us to a more positive outlook on life. Through developing a regular meditation practice, we heal past hurts and let go of limiting beliefs about ourselves and other types of pain and suffering. We build up inner strength and a natural contentment which restores our well-being, improves our concentration and focus, teaches us resilience, and increases our love and compassion for others.
In this class, you will be guided each week in exploring practical and easy ways to integrate Buddhist meditation into busy, modern life. Buddha’s ancient teachings are highly effective methods for reducing negative states of mind and discovering a sustainable source of healing peace from deep within.
