On Friday, June 25, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Green-Wood cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. The Knights and Gil Shaham will perform a fresh take on an enduring classic in this unique outdoor concert at Green-Wood Cemetery. As part of the unflinchingly daring Death of Classical series, Gil Shaham and Knights Members will play their “pocket” version of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, Op. 61.
The concert will take place at dusk, and will be preceded by a spirits tasting and live jazz. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event where one of today’s greatest living violinists and one of Brooklyn’s most beloved ensembles, will strip away the layers of Beethoven’s immortal work until they find the eternity that lies at its center.
