The Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity (AACCU) presents "THE NOWS & PASION" to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, this event is part of its Cultural Diversity on the South Shore Series. "THE NOWS" is a world premiere piece, created by Chia Ying Kao, a Taiwanese choreographer and Giacomo Merega, an Italian composer/musician; and the "PASION" will be performed by Sol y Sombra Spanish Dance Company , a well known local Spanish dance group.
The program is made possible with the public funding provided by Suffolk County and the Decentralization Program (DEC), a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts. With major support from the Islip Arts Council and the J & K Pi Family Foundation Inc.
