Presentation by Greg Metzger, Chief Field Coordinator for the SoFo Shark Research & Education Program

In this informative program, Greg will discuss the methods used for the SoFo Shark Research and Education Program. He will show attendees the actual tags and electronic equipment utilized for the program’s research and explain why tags are used, how they are deployed in the field, and how the data is recovered. You’ll learn why tagging is important, what kind of data is received from the tags, and how tags can be used to track shark behavior.

SoFo Members: Programs are free unless otherwise specified. Non-Members: Adults $15, Children $10 (Ages 3-12), Ages 2 & under free. This fee includes admission to the museum, in addition to the program.
