Description

One of the greatest social maladies of our time is loneliness. Even when in the midst of teaming crowds, individual loneliness prevails. In a world that is becoming increasingly dependent upon technology, true belonging often entails a spiritual quest. Four daily paradoxical practices, as put forth in Brene Brown’s book Braving the Wilderness, lead us to true belonging, which is, in simplest terms, self-acceptance. Implementing each practice is a challenge, one that motivational speaker Constance Hallinan Lagan helps us to embrace. True belonging is the reward for unlocking our fears and unleashing our courage. Topics include cognitive theory, change, perception, non-judgment, fearlessness, self-acceptance, courage and personal truth. The seminar concludes with a guided visualization meditation.
