Join author Jonathan Harounoff as he discusses his new book, Unveiled: Inside Iran's #WomanLifeFreedom Revolt. Through searing interviews with survivors of regime brutality and activists who fled Iran and experts in the diaspora, Jonathan Harounoff explores what a different Iran might look like. Unveiled will be essential reading for anyone interested in women's rights, history, religion, or the Middle East. Jonathan Harounoff is an award-winning British author of Persian descent, based in New York, and currently serves as the International Spokesperson to Israel's UN Mission.
Rebecca Sassouni will moderate the evening's conversation. Rebecca is a past Board of Education president, a current board trustee, and a member of the Mayor’s Coalition for Unity. A lawyer and writer, Rebecca serves on various boards and committees that focus on education and law, including first-generation American Persian Jewish experiences.
