The US Synchronized Swimming will be hosting their Junior Olympics Championship on Long Island at the Nassau County Aquatic Center located in Eisenhower Park.
We need volunteers throughout the whole day to do the following
1) Scoring – Keeping score of the athlete’s performance/helping official scorer get all scores, setting up judges tables and receiving scores from judges
2) Pool deck shifts – pool deck security. Only Athletes, officials/judges can be on the deck.
3) Help with day to day operations –jobs include set up, break down of event, security, helping staff set up each competition.
4) Figures Competition-WILL NEED THE MOST VOLUNTEERS: will take place Saturday, June 25th, 7:45am-1pm and Monday June 27th, 7:45am-1pm. You will not be able to take a break during this time period. (Except in between age groups).
We need 30-40 volunteers per day. Please note: Volunteers need to be able to stand for 4 hours at a time.
Volunteers will work in a 4 hour shift–either 7:15 AM - 11:45 AM, 11:45 AM - 4:15 PM, or 4:15 PM - 8:45 PM–except for set up day, June 24th, which will be a single shift from 12:00 nooon to 5:00 PM.
