Date & Time
Work with photographer Michael Korol to explore the artful side of photography! Your digital cameras or phones will be used to introduce students to rules of thumb for good composition, designing light and shadow, color, and conceptualization. They will visualize and create 3D story-boards and learn how to tell a story through photographs, as well as creating a modern application of the traditional pinhole camera. These are skills they will carry with them the rest of their lives!
This workshop is open to the public for boys and girls.
Girl Scouts Learn and Earn: Fun patches available at the GSNC Shop.
Important: Wear art-friendly clothing. We will take a lunch break around 12:30, so please arrive well-fed and bring a nut-free sack lunch and a beverage. YOU MUST BRING A SMARTPHONE OR DIGITAL CAMERA.
