"So much has been written about Orson Welles’ monumental debut film - CITIZEN KANE, but did you know these fascinating Kane facts? William Randolph Hearst, the basis for Charles Foster Kane, had aspirations to become an actor. There is an earlier film that closely shares CITZEN KANE’s plot line and story structure. Director/star/co-writer Welles filmed a large portion of CITIZEN KANE recovering from a crippling injury. Join film historian/film maker Glenn Andreiev as he presents a one-night-only Zoom discussion and Q&A on Welles’ breathtaking and always entertaining 1941 film masterpiece. Ticket holders will be provided with a video introduction by Andreiev and will then be invited to watch the film on the streaming platform of their choice (where available) for a small fee. Participants can then join Mr. Andreiev for the Zoom discussion about CITIZEN KANE, and discuss why after almost 80 years, is still considered the greatest American made film."
