"Her first summer job as a teenager was aboard the Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Discovery boat, identifying snowy egrets, osprey and night herons. Now, Brooke is leading the climate science team at the National Audubon Society! Listen to her as she shares the life experiences that led her to becoming not only a Senior Scientist, but also inventing a program used to track climates all over the world called “Climate Watch”!
Brooke will bring you on an exploration of the migration of birds from the Arctic to Long Island, including a discussion of the science of many of the beautiful species of native birds we have right in our own backyard.
