Description

The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) presents a virtual talk on Zoom with acclaimed historian David Nasaw about his new book, The Last Million: Europe's Displaced Persons from Word War to Cold War. The book explores what happened to the one million Holocaust Survivors, former slave laborers, and POWs who found themselves in Germany at the end of WWII, describing the creation and operation of Displaced Person Camps and the eventual scattering of this population around the world.
