"The High Line is a jewel of a NYC destination garden. The 1 ½ mile-long elevated linear park, greenway, and rail-trail created on former freight train tracks on the West Side of Manhattan, opened to great fanfare in 2009.
Native plants and grasses have been used to create a green oasis in the middle of a city. This presentation features key landscape lessons from the High Line that are ideal for Long Island gardeners to bring into their yard. Presented by Roxanne Zimmer, Cornell Cooperative Extension."
