Description

The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) presents the Virtual Upstander Awards featuring an online auction. For the past eleven years, the Friedlander Upstander Awards have been presented to students who have intervened during a bullying incident or other intolerant action. Award recipients are exceptional youth who advocate for those in need or stand up against peer pressure. The winners receive an educational scholarship of $5,000 provided by the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation. Join us on May 10 to celebrate the winners! 

The online auction will be a fundraiser to benefit HMTC's Holocaust and Tolerance education programs for students and adults.
