Description

WWBA is delighted to welcome Writing Instructor Barbara Field for an evening memoir writing class on Zoom “Writing Life Stories.”

This class is open to writers of all levels – no experience is necessary. All seeking inspiration for writing their own memoirs are welcome to join us virtually for this class.

Writing Life Stories is a memoir writing class for non-writers and those beginning their memoir journey. This introduction will include a lecture and a brief writing exercise. Bring a pen, paper or notebook! Barbara will focus on your story, rather than the craft of writing. Using a guided autobiography method taught for over 30 years to thousands of college students, professionals, and retirees, you’ll write quickly and easily.

Barbara Field is a writer, corporate marketer, instructor, and keynote speaker. She worked on staff for CBS, Harcourt Brace, UC San Diego, and Pace University. Barbara was regional manager of The Op Ed Project. And she was a mentor for the Afghan Women’s Writing Project. She has given keynote speeches at women’s conferences and for corporations about empowering women’s voices. Her novel won a Writer’s Digest fiction award and she publishes widely. Her recent article in The Independent went viral with hundreds of thousands of views.
