Description

The festival will include readings of plays in development by some of New York’s emerging playwrights. The purpose is to give the playwrights a chance to hear their shows with an audience. The plays will be read by professional actors. This year, the festival will be focused around the theme of rediscovery. Each reading will have a talkback with the playwrights. There will also be a panel discussion moderated by Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport about developing new shows, followed by a cocktail reception. The readings will be free with a requested donation. The panel discussion & cocktail reception will be $10. For advance tickets call the Box Office at 631-725-9500
