Hosted by SUNY Old Westbury and Empire State Development, this day-long program will feature a keynote address by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
Originally designed as a procurement conference for operators of minority and women-owned businesses, the event this year also provides opportunities and information related to Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business programs and certifications.
The event serves as a venue for entrepreneurs and business owners to take workshops from and network with officials from New York State, procurement personnel from area SUNY campuses, and regional-based agency staff. Included during the conference will be an overview of the procurement opportunities available at SUNY campuses across Long Island and information and insights into the Empire State Development MWBE Certification process.
