Description

Free Astronomy Program at Jones Beach Nature Center on Thursday nights of July and August (except Aug 18) from 8pm to 10pm, The Amateur Observers Society of New York (AOSNY) will give an astronomy presentation followed by an observing session outside the patio area of the Nature Center. The public is welcome - adults, kids, groups - there is no charge. All are invited to hear the presentation and to look through the telescopes and binoculars of AOS members (or bring your own).

The session will be cancelled if raining but if the skies are cloudy, the astronomy presentation will proceed as we wait for a break in the clouds.
