Come jam/make music, meet staff and campers, and have fun learning about Beyond Rock, Long Island’s rock music summer camp.
At Beyond Rock, 7-17 year olds of all ability levels have a blast playing in rock bands, writing songs, recording, playing theater games, and more. Workshops are offered in technique, stage presence, music software, the music industry, and more, and students perform in a real rock concert at a major music club (Mulcahy’s in Wantagh).
We’re about music,and about so much more – changing lives – helping kids move past their fears – and creating a space that many say is their “favorite place on earth,” calling it “the one place where I feel truly accepted” and so much more.
In a fun, supportive, community, kids build confidence, make great friends, free creativity, and grow as musicians and as people. Certified teachers and professional musicians give lots of personal attention (4:1 minimum ratio).
