Join us for a bird walk led by SOFO Executive Director Frank Quevedo to celebrate this year’s Long Island Reads book selection, Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World by Christian Cooper.
Free copies of the book will be available to Hampton Library cardholders on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Long Island Reads is an island-wide reading initiative intended to bring together readers from across Nassau and Suffolk Counties to share a book and participate in library-sponsored events.
