Description

"Our Latin Carribean Roots." Rooted in the rhythms of her native Cuba percussionist Nydia "Liberty" Mata shares the limelight with fellow percussionist Professor Erasto Bernard. Together with his Puerto Rican heritage and her Cuban roots, we will journey through driving rhythms in an informative and interactive multimedia presentation highlighting the Afro-Latin musical influence in the Caribbean.
