The Nassau County PBA Hockey Team will play the Nassau County Volunteer Firefighter’s hockey team in a charity game at Nassau Coliseum to raise funds for the family of volunteer firefighter, Joseph Sanford Jr. who died on duty last December.
Joseph Sanford Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from his injuries after falling through the floor of a Long Island fire. He was a volunteer firefighter for seventeen years at the Inwood Fire Department and a Nassau County Public Work Employee. The game is in his honor and will aid his family. The donation to attend the game per person is $10.
