East Northport Celebrates 14th Annual “A Taste of Long Island”
With Celebrity Guest Chef Barret Beyer

Join Hell’s Kitchen Contestant Barret Beyer at Long Island’s premier food, wine and beer tasting event on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Larkfield. Celebrating its 14th year, “A Taste of Long Island” boasts a night of entertainment, prizes and some of the best food and drink that Long Island has to offer.
Back by popular demand, the event will feature some local competition among restaurants. For the fifth year in a row, all participating restaurants will be showcasing their culinary and creative talents in four categories: most creative dish; best table presentation; tastiest dish; and people’s choice, which will be decided by Chef Beyer. This juried event annually attracts hundreds of foodies and wine and beer connoisseurs to the beautiful Larkfield, encapsulating old world romance via English gardens, stone patios and a vineyard oasis.
This year, the event will honor Jackie Lukas, Anchor and Reporter for News 12 for outstanding community service. All proceeds from the event supports four important causes--Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice of Suffolk, Inc.; the East Northport Chamber of Commerce; and the Rotary International.
A Taste of Long Island will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Admission for adults is $75 in advance or $85 at the door; there is no entry fee for participating restaurants. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available.
