Description

Come join in the fun and a full day of activities in East Quogue!  We're celebrating our township of Southampton turning 375 years old!

Beginning at 10:00am with a free concert in our Village Green Park, the "Filthy Crickets" will be plaing for about an hour to get us all motivated, followed by a guided tour in our oldest cemetery behind the East Quogue United Methodist Church on Main St.

The East Quogue Historical Society will be open all day beginning at 10:00am for exhibits and they will be handing out "Self-Guided" tours of historic homes in the area, info about East Quogue's history and "Wooden Nickels" commemorating the day!

During your lunch hours, The New Moon Cafe will be open for a taste of our life for lunch, then be treated the Old Fashioned (1950's) way, with a small dish of Ice Cream or popcorn.

All through the day, shops will be open with photos in their windows of what those places looked like at the turn of the century here.

Another "Guided" tour of our cemetery behind the East Quogue United Methodist Church, will be held at 4pm, for those who would like to end their day relaxed and under the shade of the old oak and cedar trees.

We hope you can make the day-long, town-wide festivities!

Remember, our town will be open for you....all day, come and enjoy!
