The Fit & Healthy Mamas 5k is for female runners of all ages (12 years and older) and speeds. You don't have to be a mom to join in...you just have to love one!
Whether you’re a first timer, or beginner, an avid runner, or just need an incentive to lose that baby weight, you are encouraged to join in to promote healthy living and more importantly to celebrate you! Moms often find taking care of themselves last on the long list of things to do. This is a day where you come first(no matter how long it takes you to cross the finish line)! Take your moment to be Fit and Healthy today… Free guided pre and post race stretching sponsored by yoga rocks! There will also be a free kids yoga class post race provided by yoga rocks! kids. Free face painting, music, food and drinks, massage chair, and more. What are you waiting for? Guys can get involved, too. Not ready to run it yet, no problem...The group loves walkers too! Any step towards being physically active is a step in the right direction. P.S. – They are stroller friendly!
