Thursday, January 19, 2017, 7:00 P.M. the Great South Bay Audubon Society will have their general meeting, the program will be “Maine's Hog Island” presented by Jody Banaszak, our own chapter member,teacher and one of our resident artists. Jody, spent a week at the Audubon camp on Hog Island Maine this past summer. In addition to adding many birds to her life list, she studied puffin behavior, observed bald eagle nests and learned about the geology of Maine, all of which she will share with a beautiful slide show.

Bring a friend to join us for this great program and free refreshments. Our bird experts will be on hand to answer any questions, discuss equipment, and share their favorite birding spots.The meeting will be held at the main house, Connetquot River State Park and Preserve, Sunrise Highway, Oakdale.
