Description

With Jay Schuck. This course is designed for those with little to no previous knowledge of art history. The course will survey the artwork produced in Northern Europe, particularly the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. The course begins with the development of Early Nethlandish Art and continues to the time of the Reformation. Artists to be examined include Jan van Eyck, Petrus Christus, Albrecht Durer, Bosch, Pieter Brueghel, and more.
