Enjoy an afternoon of traditional Iranian music at the Great Neck Library featuring The Chakavak Ensemble's founding members Bahrain Sadeghian (vocals) and Shahla Nikfal (qanum). The ensemble was formed in 1987 to advocate and offer an understanding of traditional Persian music to the tri-state area and has become more successful than ever.
Registration is required. Great Neck Library cardholders and residents have priority for seating. Sign up online, in-person, or via phone beginning April 25 at 10 a.m. Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, as space allows.
