The Islip Town Firefighters Museum and Education Center will be hosting its annual Fire/EMS Big Chili Cook Off at the West Sayville-Oakdale Firemans Park located at 80 Main Street off of Cherry Avenue in West Sayville. The event will include fire departments and ambulance companys competing for the best chili. The event will include plenty of chili tasting for all who dare. Other activities will include antique fire equipment on display, live music, and jumpys for the kids. In addition to the activities there will be craft beer, soda,pizza, and Ice cream for a nominal cost. Admission will be $10.00 for all persons 12 years and older. All proceeds and donations will go towards the benefit of the Islip Town Firefighters Museum and Education Center in Central Islip across from Ducks Stadium with the groundbreaking expected to be this fall.
