LI Comedy Fest * 50 Plus Comedy Tour

The best of Long Island's comedians are going to be kicking off the 50 Plus Comedy Tour starting July 27th at the SYJCC Performing Arts Center in Commack, NY. The SYJCC has been serving its community through exercise and education with its various programs that focus on youth development, healthy living & social responsibility. Portions of the proceeds from the show will help with the continuing of the SYJCC's great community programs.

50 + Tour Comedy line up:

Headliner: Marla Schultz - Originally from Long Island Marla Schultz is a headlining stand-up-comic, actress and public speaker. She toured the country opening for comedian Chelsea Handler, Jim Breuer and other top comics, entertained the troops overseas and guest starred on several television shows. Schultz is also an inventor of The Racktrap (www.theracktrap.com) a one-size-fits all bra pocket.

Steve Lazarus: Steve Lazarus, Comedian and Author of "The Pope and Me at Yankee Stadium," has audiences rolling in the aisles from coast-to-coast. The long-time Yankee Stadium Beer Man turned comedian gives a unique perspective on what life is like both in and out of the stands.

Paul Anthony: Can be found performing at comedy clubs in NYC and on Long Island where he's a regular at the new Comedy Club @ Theatre Three in Port Jefferson. His observational humor about everyday life appeals to all audiences. Paul is also the official host of the Long Island Comedy Festival.

Bill McCarty: McCarty's talents have been seen on television's The Rosie O' Donnell Show (NBC) and Late Night with Conan O' Brian (NBC), as well as Evening at the Improv. (A&E) and Caroline's Comedy Hour (A&E). Bill McCarty is one of the nation's most gifted comedians. Clever and quick, thoughtful and aware, he elevates stand-up comedy to the level of fine art. Talia Reese: A Long Island based comedian and writer. After having her soul crushed as a corporate attorney, Talia found redemption in stand up and can be seen performing regularly at some of the hottest comedy clubs in NYC and Long Island. She's been featured in the She-Devil Comedy Festival and has opened for Caroline Rhea and Rich Vos.
