The LONG ISLAND QUILTERS' SOCIETY announces their 2016 QUILT
CONVENTION, “CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF QUILTING TOGETHER!”
MAY 14-15, 2016 at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 East Merrick
Road, Freeport, NY. This event will include more than 200 quilts judged
for their artistic beauty and technical mastery. Hours are Saturday, May
14th - 10-5 pm and Sunday, May 15th - 10-4* pm (*quilt viewing will end
at 3 pm, vendor’s mall will be open until 4 pm). Daily Admission is
$10.00, children under 12 are free. There will be fantastic raffles,
Chinese auction, special displays, and educational demonstrations.
