Date & Time
Running for over 50 years, Mill Neck Family’s Fall Harvest Festival returns this year on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9. This family-friendly, Long Island tradition is held on the beautiful, 86-acre campus of the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf. There is something for everyone, from NY State apples, grilled and seasonal fare, handmade country crafts, new children’s activities and many more activities throughout the weekend. Visitors will also find a wide variety of cheeses in the “Cheese House,” and plenty of tempting baked goods, jellies, fudge and strudels. The “Country Store” also features meat and bacon products.
Located on the grounds of a historic Gold Coast estate, between Oyster Bay and Bayville, the Festival, also known as the Apple Fest, has it all!
The Festival also showcases the latest in Deaf technology, sign language novelty items and books. Each year, Mill Neck Manor alumni attend the Fall Harvest Festival as a “homecoming,” with the event bringing together the heart of the Long Island Deaf Community.
Proceeds benefit the Mill Neck Family of Organizations, dedicated to providing educational and vocational programs and services to children and adults who are Deaf or have other special needs.
PLEASE NOTE: Parking fee is $15 per vehicle. No dogs on campus (certified service dogs, with proof, are permitted). No smoking on campus. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
