Oktoberfest 2014
Third Annual Oktoberfest at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Garden City. Saturday, Oct. 4, 4 to 10:30 p.m. Festivities begin at 4pm, with German music, German food, soft drinks. Starting at 7, authentic live Oktoberfest music, plus German food, imported German beer and wine purchased separately continues through the evening. Free commemorative mug. Net proceeds support the missions of Resurrection. Event will take place under a tent on church lawn along Emmet Place entrance to church; 420 Stewart Ave., Garden City. Advance tickets: $28; $10, age 12 and under (children 3 and under free) through Sept. 27.
