Emma Clark Library’s 4th annual Pet Adoption Fair will be held on Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the library lawn. The event will once again feature various animal rescue organizations and animal advocacy associations. The following organizations will be participating:
· Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue
· Happy Tails Dog Rescue, Inc.
· Kids Adopt a Shelter in conjunction with My Shadow Rescue
· Last Chance Animal Rescue
· Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group (informational purposes only)
· NYS Retriever Rescue
· PRAAT – Patchogue Rotary Animal Assisted Therapy (informational purposes only)
· Post Consumer Pet Rescue
· Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc.
· Sweetest Dog Rescue, Inc.
There is no need to register and all (not just local residents) are welcome to attend. The library will also be collecting donations of pet food at the event.
At last year’s Pet Adoption Fair, there were 5 dog adoptions, 7 kitten adoptions, and 10 dogs fostered. Hopefully even more animals are adopted this year! Come pick out a new member for your family to love!
