Description

WWBA announces its 2017 Program Series, Salut au Monde.  This title is taken from one of Whitman’s poems and we aim to bring the world to the Whitman stage with this Series. The Immigration Challenge with Tatyana Kleyn is the first in this Series. Tatyana Kleyn will hold a community discussion entitled, From Mexico to the U.S. and Back Again: A Film and Discussion with a focus on families and how immigration unifies and separates them, often at the same time.  A 30 minute film that she directed and co-produced, Una Vida, Dos Paises, (One Life, Two Countries): Children and Youth (Back) in Mexico, on the phenomenon of return migration, will be shown. Discussion to follow. Free and open to the Public. Refreshments will be served.
