On Sunday, May 31 at Sportime Bethpage Multisport, the second annual fundraiser will be held to raise awareness and fund research for pediatric brain cancer.
On April 27, 2013, eight year old Giuliana Boudouvas passed away suddenly from a very rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Giuliana’s family and friends of her family established ‘Team Peanut’ to help fund pediatric brain tumor research. All registrations will go to “Voices Against Brain Cancer,” an organization whose mission is to find a cure for brain cancer by advancing scientific research, increasing awareness within the medical community, and supporting patients, their families, and caregivers afflicted with this devastating disease. All donations will go toward a scholarship fund created in memory of Giuliana.
