We will meet at Westbrook Sports Complex and follow the Greenbelt along Westbrook Pond to the catwalk under Sunrise Hwy and into Connetquot River State Park Preserve; we will stop at the hatchery for restroom break; eastbound.
Take So. St. Pkwy. to Exit 45E; follow Montauk Highway east; through traffic signal then approximately 1/2 mile to LIRR bridge; entrance to access road is after the bridge at the bottom on left.(you’ll see baseball fields on left after turn); westbound, take NY 27, bear right past Connetquot Park onto service road to Heckscher Pkwy. (Southern State) southbound; take Heckscher Pkwy. to Exit 45E, then east as above to Westbrook.
