Description

Storytime Leader: Eleni Nikolopoulos, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator

Who is still awake in Vineyard Field, the field behind SoFo, in the winter, and who is sleeping? Let’s learn about some of the animals that we might come across in the field. There might be a fox, or squirrel, or maybe even some deer, and why don’t we see a turtle or a frog? Eleni will read a story she’s made up about some of these animals, and you’ll help her finish the story by deciding how these animals spend the winter and where you might find them outdoors.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.

Cost: SoFo Members: Programs are free unless otherwise specified. Nonmembers: Adults $15, Children $10 (Ages 3-12), Ages 2 & under free. This fee includes admission to the museum, in addition to the program.
