The 2019 Long Island Congenital Heartwalk is a fundraising event benefiting The Children’s Heart Foundation. The mission of The Children’s Heart Foundation is to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects. The event includes a 1 mile family-friendly walk, kids’ activities, crafts, special guests, research remarks, a peace and memorial area, food trucks, music and more. There is no charge but participants are asked to fundraise or donate.
