The Rotary Club of Seatuck Cove is announcing the first annual 4-Leaf Clover 5K Race on Saturday, March 18, at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held at East Moriches Middle School, 2 Adelaide Avenue, East Moriches.
Register to run the 5K online at www.seatuckcoverotary.com. The cost is $20 is the registration is on or before February 29. If you register after February 29, including race day, the fee is $25. The runner/walker registration fee covers all race-day festivities, post-race refreshments, entry free, and a free shirt for the first 100 registrations. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 29.
Corporate and personal sponsorships are also available. Prices vary from $100 to $500 depending on the level of involvement. Visit www.seatuckcoverotary.com for more information on sponsorship this community event.
All proceeds benefit charitable projects in the greater Moriches and Eastport areas with a special emphasis in the two school districts. The majority of the money raised is going toward a human sun-dial project that is being built for the science departments of the schools.
This event is rain or shine, and walkers are welcome to register and participate. To Avoid long lines on race day, participants may pick up race packets at South Bay Bible Church, 578 Montauk Highway, East Moriches; (631) 909-8241 on Friday, March 17 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. You may also pick up your packet on race day as early as 8:00 a.m. at East Moriches Middle School, 9 Adelaide Avenue, East Moriches.
