Description

   Temple Israel of Lawrence cordially invites you to join us for a Virtual Tour of A VACATION IN THE BRANCH (as the Five Towns were known in the 19th and early 20th century), with Millicent Vollono, author of "The Five Towns," on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 7:30 p.m.

   Millicent Vollono was the librarian at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library for nearly 30 years. A music specialist and curator of the local history collection, she was the library's web site developer and author of their local history blog until her retirement in 2016. She holds advanced degrees from Hofstra University and LIU.
