Description

Supportive group for people in the early stage of Alzheimer’s or another dementia and their caregivers

The Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter invites residents to take part in an Early Stage Meetup group every Tuesday from Noon-1:00pm, beginning February 4 – March 24 at the Alzheimer’s Association office in Melville. This free support group offers people in the early stage of Alzheimer’s or another dementia creative activities and discussions that encourage disease education, social engagement, and cognitive stimulation in a supportive environment. A caregiver support group runs concurrently.
