Teens receive hands-on training in basic artistic processes that can be translated into practical job skills. Based on current exhibitions in the galleries at the Museum, these workshops will encourage participants to explore different methods of art making and design and how a museum can be a resource for creative inspiration. Students with autism will have the opportunity to apply their artistic skills and functional academic learning in a real world setting, while preparing to transition to after school life. Partial funding for our program for autism comes from the North Shore Autism Circle.
