Join us for this 3 part series, Bead Weaving on a Loom! You will learn to set up and warp your very own bead loom as well as learn the basics of loom weaving and will produce a weaving that can then be made into a piece of jewelry or used as a decorative element in another application.
June 14, Part I: This is the first class in the 3 part series. In this class you will learn how to set up a loom, warp, weft, and begin weaving.
June 21, Part II: In this class you will learn how to transfer images into patterns that can then be incorporated into you bead weaving designs. Discussions on color and the effects that can be created with the use of different colored cording and the use of transparent beads will be explored.
July 12, Part III: In this final class you will learn to finish off your project. A discussion of applications such as framing and the assembly of findings for making a piece of jewelry will be addressed. You will leave this course with a beautiful, finished project!

Materials Fee: $30. Kit includes a loom, beads, cord & needles.
