Friends of the Garden City Public Library will hold a Book Sale on Saturday, November 4 from 9:30 am–4:00 pm and Sunday, November 5 from 1:00–3:00 pm at the Garden City Public Library located at the corner of 60 Seventh St. and Hilton Ave., in Garden City. Friends of the Garden City Public Library volunteers have organized this sale with all proceeds to benefit the library. The Friends non-profit organization has worked as a dynamic community resource since 1952. Their mission is to help fund services and resources not provided by tax dollars and to promote the library as a vital community education and information center.
