Observe the exquisite forms found in nature that are often organized in a predictable pattern. By studying and applying the Fibonacci Sequence, learn to recognize the growth pattern in sea shells and render them in either graphite or colored pencil.

Bring: a choice of sea shells, graphite pencils (2H, HB, 2B), vinyl eraser, kneaded-eraser, sharpener, a variety of colored pencils (white, cream, pinks, soft blues, muted greens, a couple of soft browns, greys), and good quality drawing paper suitable for colored pencil and graphite. Refer to the materials list for Advanced Drawing and Painting Botanicals if you need direction to see which materials are recommended.
