There will be a mocktail hour with a grazing table. This event will be structured on a schedule so PLEASE be on time and ARRIVE EARLY SO THAT YOU CAN WALK THE RED CARPET.
The theme of this year's gala is "Walk Your Talk," we will be celebrating those who recover out loud and walk their talk each and every day. As with any Break Free event, fashion will be front and center. The dress code for this event is creative black tie also known as “Hollywood black tie.” Creative black tie is a creative twist on the black tie dress code injected with bolder colors and textures instead of sticking to just traditional all-black ensembles.
Guests are invited to dress as avant-garde as they desire and to enjoy a runway presentation by Break Free founder, Alexandra Nyman of the fashion house LadyCat, as well as runway shows by Claire Comai of Rehab Studios and more. At the conclusion of the runway show, the models will then fan out and into a live mannequin showroom, where all guests are encouraged to interact with them and hear their stories of recovery.
