Description

Come join us at the third annual I Love My Park Day. I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park's system and its needs.
 
9 AM-2 PM
 
For project one, volunteers will help with clean-up of our streams, which involves removing branches, trash and other debris. All volunteers should bring water, a snack, waterproof gloves, and hip waders/boots.
*There are limited amount of waders available at the park.
 
Project two will involve trail clean-up from Southards Pond to Belmont Lake. This is a 5-mile hike. Proper boots, water, gloves, insect repellent, and a snack are highly recommended.
 
Volunteers ages 13 and up are welcome to participate. Please meet at the Boat House.
