Hike to the fish hatcher, then up to and past Bunce's Bridge, and back to Main Pond; lunch afterwards at nearby Bayard Cutting Arboretum if you wish; bring water and snack; meet in the main entrance parking lot on the north side of NY 27 (fee, or free with Empire Passport); from the west, take NY 27 Exit 47A, Oakdale-Bohemia Rd., and follow signs for U-turn to park; from the east, take NY 27 and follow signs for park entrance on right; heavy rain cancels.
