Summary: Viktor, Oleana, Christina, Jana and Oleg are journalists, reporters and presenters for the Ukrainian television channel ICTV. On 24 February 2022, the first day of the Russian full scale invasion, they chose to stay at work, to do their job, to report the news, to contribute to the war effort. Their lives were turned upside down overnight: installed in secret basements, they no longer knew the boundary between their professional and private lives. They became a family, dedicated 24 hours a day to providing information in wartime. “How is wartime news produced in Ukraine? A gripping and fascinating insight into the upheavals of everyday life in television newsrooms.” (Télérama, 15 February 2023).
